The makers of the erectile dysfunction drug Viagra were caught by a US Food and Drug Administration panel earlier this month of a drug maker who said they hoped the product would be approved next year.

The panel was due to hear from Dr Jackson ahead of its first meeting with the FDA on Thursday.
He will discuss the drug’s potential to help people with erectile dysfunction. The FDA has not made a final decision on whether Viagra will be approved, but will decide whether it is a preferred treatment for erectile dysfunction.
